News1,350 female volunteers have received training from the General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque to provide them the skills needed to offer women who visit the mosques excellent services. Training topics included handling large crowds, interacting with mosque guests, organising volunteer activities, and tending to the needs of the elderly and disabled.
In addition, the government has changed the carpets in Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa inside the Prophet's Mosque in anticipation of the holy month of Ramadan, which sees a notable spike in international tourists.
The administration has improved services in a number of areas to improve the mosque's experience for guests, and the new, superior carpets are only one of them.
