The 32nd Arab summit will take place in Saudi Arabia on May 19 after a number of planning talks, according to an announcement from the Arab League.
The League said in a statement on Sunday that the conclusion was reached following discussions between Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit and the Saudi government.
The Arab-African meeting will also take place in Saudi Arabia this year, and the Arab Development meeting will take place in Mauritania in 2023.
