3rd edition of the International Championship for Purebred Arabian Horses - Abiyah Championship 2023 will be held from November 29 to December 2

The third International Championship for Purebred Arabian Horses (Abiyah Championship 2023) will be hosted by Prince Faisal bin Bandar, the Emir of Riyadh, at the International Equestrian Resort in Riyadh from November 29 to December 2. Under the guidance of the King Abdulaziz Centre for Purebred Arabian Horses, over 300 heads of purebred Arabian horses from both inside and outside the Kingdom will fight for gold, silver, and bronze medals. At the event, there will be more than thirty foreign exhibitors.

The Saudi authorities were eager to create plans that aligned with the vision of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, which is why they organised the Abiyah 2023 event. The Abiyah Equestrian part, which revives traditional Saudi equestrian sports with 10 riders who perform the show and resurrect the parade on horseback, will feature several side events in addition to sports, entertainment, cultural, artistic, and challenges.

The cultural salon known as the House of Abiyah tells tales of monarchs, imams, and other significant characters in the history of the Kingdom. Aiming to showcase equestrianism and legacy in a contemporary and appealing manner, the Moon Show part features visual and cinematic displays on the Abiyah Moon, the arts squares, the horse auction, the horse riding area, and other activities.
