3rd International Translation Forum 2023 will be held on Friday, focusing on the theme Fostering Cross-Cultural Exchange

The third International Translation Forum 2023, with the topic "Fostering Cross-Cultural Exchange," will be held on Friday by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the event will advance cross-cultural communication by emphasising the value of the translation industry and its ability to bridge cultural divides.

Ten panel discussions on important subjects in the translation industry will be covered during the two-day event, which is scheduled to take place at King Saud University. In addition, nine sessions will be offered to participants to improve their translating abilities.

Additionally, participants in the forum can engage in conversation with both domestic and foreign experts by participating in the "Talk with Experts" event. Under the direction of subject-matter specialists, the forum provides opportunities for involvement in editorial translation, interpretation, and audiovisual translation. Prominent national and worldwide translation institutes will also be included in an exhibition that runs alongside the event.

The commission seeks to develop the Saudi translation market, encourage competition, enhance intercultural understanding, and increase public awareness of the industry's role in bridging cultures.
