44th session of the Executive Council of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization ICESCO in Jeddah

The Executive Council of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organisation (ICESCO) will hold its 44th session in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, through the National Commission for Education, Culture, and Science (NCECS). The meeting, which is slated to take place from January 16–18, will be attended by delegates from the organization's 54 member nations.

This momentous occasion is consistent with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince's continuous dedication to promoting science, culture, and education in the nation.

Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture and Chairman of NCECS, is directing the event, which reflects Saudi Arabia's leading position in promoting scientific, cultural, and educational growth on a regional and international scale.

Participants will evaluate and debate ICESCO's current efforts and accomplishments during the three-day event. The organization's effect in these critical areas will be improved via the development of future action plans and strategies.

Future paths for strategic planning and budgeting will be highlighted in a final report that summarises the council's discussions. The decisions made by the Executive Council, which were approved by the ICESCO General Conference, will also be included in this report.

ICESCO, which came from the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, was created in 1982 and is based in Rabat. Its main objectives are to promote advancements in the fields of education, science, technology, humanities, social sciences, and cultural communication. This is consistent with its main objective, which is to advance sustainable development in Islamic nations.
