A new initiative - Comedy Factory has been launched to uncover and promote emerging Saudi comedy and theater talents

A new programme has been introduced in the Kingdom to find and support up-and-coming Saudi comedic and theatrical talent. The General Entertainment Authority's head, Turki Al-Sheikh, declared that the organisation will support the Comedy Factory initiative, according to the Saudi Press Agency. 

With advice from professionals in the field, the authority hopes to provide a nurturing atmosphere where upcoming new comics may create works that represent community concerns and the Saudi identity. The Comedy Factory is a component of a larger endeavour by the government to develop the entertainment industry in the nation, which also includes training programmes, seminars, and competitive events.
