The Red Sea Labs has introduced a brand-new "Music for Film" programme to help and develop up-and-coming composers by giving them a personalised course taught by internationally famous, award-winning musicians and authorities. The seven-day course offers Saudis and Saudi residents the chance to learn how to write music for motion pictures.
Although there are many brilliant musicians in the Kingdom, very few of them have the expertise, training, and background needed to compose for the screen. The Red Sea Labs provides a programme that blends academic learning with real-world projects in an effort to close this gap. Composers may put their new knowledge to use while getting quick feedback from on-site teachers.
The programme encourages collaboration and advances understanding of film score by linking composers and filmmakers. This partnership enables filmmakers to better comprehend how music may heighten the mood of a movie. By working together, the composers may sharpen their narrative abilities, develop their technical proficiency, and infuse their own musical tastes into the film soundtrack. The course gives students technical knowledge for film composing, such as an awareness of various musical genres and instruments.
Additionally, participants will learn how to compose for certain scenarios and match music to visual signals. The initiative is a key part of Red Sea Labs' objective to actively support the expansion of the film industry in all its facets, establishing the organisation as a meeting place for industry experts, authors, and filmmakers.
The programme runs from October 9 until October 15. Additionally, participants will learn how to compose for certain scenarios and match music to visual signals.
