A professional training program in generative AI launched at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals

The King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran has opened a professional training program in generative artificial intelligence. The Gen AI Academy offers the training in partnership with the Saudi Data and AI Authority and NVIDIA. This program is the first step in a strategy to teach 4,000 Saudi residents.

The program will teach and qualify Saudi residents in generative AI. It seeks to develop the future generation's AI capabilities, improve participants' expertise to stimulate innovation, and highlight the Kingdom's leading position in the sector.

The course contains advanced, up-to-date materials supplied by certified Saudi NVIDIA professionals. Participants will engage in a combination of virtual self-learning modules and engaging in-person seminars. Upon completion, participants will get professional certifications authorized by NVIDIA, which are worldwide acknowledged as leading credentials in generative AI.
