A Saudi traveling exhibition, titled “Art of the Kingdom: Poetic Illuminations,” opened on Monday in Riyadh at the Saudi Arabian Museum of Contemporary Art following its inauguration in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil last year.
Following its debut in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, last year, the Saudi Arabian Museum of Contemporary Art hosted a touring exhibition titled "Art of the Kingdom: Poetic Illuminations" in Riyadh on Monday.
Situated in the Jax art sector of the city, the exhibition features pieces by 17 well-known Saudi contemporary artists from all generations, geographical locations, and artistic styles, showcasing the nation's emerging art landscape.
Under two themes—the desert and cultural traditions—the exhibition features a range of artwork, including paintings, installations, and videos, showcasing the diversity and aspirations of modern Saudi artists.
