A series of events to be held Anwarat Layaleena, or Light of Our Nights theme highlighting the cultural heritage associated with Ramadan

News EventThe Ministry of Culture is getting ready for the Ramadan season of this year by organising a number of activities that will be grouped together under the theme "Light of Our Nights," or "Anwarat Layaleena."
A variety of activities will be hosted on Thumairi Street in Riyadh, the Al-Balad ancient quarter of Jeddah, and the shoreline in Dammam as part of the programme, which will emphasise the cultural legacy linked with the holy month.
"Light of Our Nights," which is organised in collaboration with a number of public, commercial, and charitable organisations, will begin with Ramadan tables in Al-Balad and Al-Zal markets in Jeddah and Riyadh. Visitors may enjoy a distinctive iftar and sahoor experience here.
There is an observatory where visitors may see the moon phases and crescent during the holy month, as well as an exhibition in Noor Riyadh aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of the significance and spirituality of Ramadan.
Traditional artisan fairs, educational programmes centred around the Holy Qur'an, cuisine demos featuring chefs making regional specialties and sweets, and a playground for kids are among the other events.
