A series of workshops “Through the Attachés” was launched to boost the access of Saudi exports to global markets

To improve Saudi exporters' access to international markets, the General Authority for Foreign Trade, via the Agency for Private Sector Affairs and International Representation, has initiated a series of workshops named "Through the Attachés." These regular workshops give Saudi exporters access to all the necessary documentation, information on target markets, and prospects for exporting Saudi goods to international markets. These seminars seek to identify exporters' target markets, comprehend important agreements that ease product access, and promote investment.

The discussions are expected to make it easier for Saudi exporters to enter international markets, according to Fawaz bin Saad bin Rafa'ah, acting deputy governor for Private Sector Affairs and International Representation. It also covers how to participate in and gain entry to these shows. The goal of these seminars was to help organisations promote commercial attachés across the world in order to maximise advantages. They also highlight Saudi Arabia's geographical advantages and competitiveness, which promote a more varied and sustainable economy. The Foreign Trade Authority works to protect Saudi Arabia's trade interests, increase exports, and maximise trade earnings.

Under the direction of 20 commercial attachés globally, this initiative supports the economic development of Saudi Arabia. The authority has made contact options available, such as sending an email to [email protected] with a request to attend seminars and meetings "through attachés."

The Foreign Trade Authority is responsible for optimising the Kingdom's gains from international trade, facilitating the entry of Saudi exports into foreign markets, luring investments, and protecting the Kingdom's interests in the domain of foreign trade, all of which are beneficial to the country's economic growth. The General Authority for Foreign Trade is a government organisation tasked with expanding the Kingdom's foreign investment and commercial endeavours. It was founded on January 1, 2019.
