AFC Asian Cup 2027; tournament to begin on January 7 and end with the final on February 5

The AFC Asian Cup 2027, hosted by Saudi Arabia, will run from January 7 to February 5, 2027. The tournament will begin with the first match on January 7 and end with the final on February 5. The games will be played at eight stadiums in three cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al-Khobar. In Riyadh, King Fahd International Stadium, which is now undergoing extensive renovations to reach international standards, will serve as the primary venue. Other Riyadh stadiums include King Saud University Stadium, Al-Shabab Club Stadium, and the recently built Kingdom Arena.

Imam Muhammad bin Saud University's stadium is being upgraded to boost seating capacity to 21,000, among other changes to meet AFC regulations. The King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, also known as Al-Jawhara, in Jeddah will host matches following the recent FIFA Club World Cup 2023 final. The city's Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium will also be prominently shown. Meanwhile, Al-Khobar is building a cutting-edge stadium to host its portion of the matches, guaranteeing that the tournament satisfies the greatest standards across all locations.
