Almqr Development Co. signed an agreement with a national construction company to build a wellness resort and rehabilitation center

According to the Saudi Press Agency, Almqr Development Co., the Madinah Regional Municipality's investment arm, has entered into a contract with a national construction company to erect a health resort and rehabilitation facility. 

The facility, which will occupy 240,000 square meters and be a part of the "Heart of Uhud" project to the north of the Prophet's Mosque, intends to make Madinah a popular travel destination for health and wellness.

Once constructed and supported by both domestic and foreign investors, the facility anticipates hosting up to 30 million visitors annually by 2030.
