AlUla Date Festival has garnered SR6 million in auction sales since it began on September 8

NewsThe Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday that since the AlUla Date Festival got underway on September 8, auction sales totaled SR6 million ($1.6 million). The yearly celebration of the area's culture and economic booster, organised by the Royal Commission for AlUla, takes place. Up through November 11, there are events every Friday and Saturday. It now has prizes for farmers for the volume and price of their sold produce, and it is in its fourth edition.
The National Centre for Palm and Dates, the Agricultural Development Fund, the Royal Commission, and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture will choose the winners. The prize money for first place is SR75,000 ($19,997), and the prizes for second and third place are SR50,000 and SR30,000, respectively.
