AlUla Moments concert series will include four new Arab entertainers for the Poets Night on January 5

This year's AlUla Moments concert series will feature numerous additional renowned international artists later in the month, starting with four new Arab performers for the Poets Night on January 5. The event will take place beneath the starry night sky of AlUla.

Abdullatif Yousef, a well-known poet and artist from Saudi Arabia, is taking part in the celebration. He has previously overseen Founding Day nights at the King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture in 2022, the Misk Art event in Riyadh, and the lecture series in Riyadh Art. Moreover, he has won other accolades, such as the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal International Award for Arabic Poetry.

Yousef took part in activities at the US Poetry Bridges initiative, the Kingdom's Pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai, and group initiatives including the art exhibition "Team" and the programme "An Evening of Voices."

The event will feature Saudi Arabian singer, composer, and musician Abdulrahman Mohammed, who is well-known for fusing ancient Arabic love songs, or ghazals. He has previously performed at both local and international gatherings, thus he is familiar with the old city of AlUla.

Mohammed makes a return appearance at Maraya Concert Hall in 2022 to present his experimental project, "The Hope Will Never Escape."

Independent Egyptian musician Ash, a 27-year-old multi-instrumentalist renowned for his live performances in breathtaking locales throughout the world, will be joining the roster.

Ash incorporates French and Middle Eastern elements into his distinctive electronic style. He gained notoriety with his song "Mosaique," which was aired 150 million times while the pyramids of Giza were in the background.

With 750 million streams in his career, Ash is set to start his "Self-Discovery Tour" in North America in February.

Abadi Al-Johar will perform as part of the AlUla Moments concert series on January 12; Hegra Candlelit Classics on January 18; the Swiss Orchestra Concert on January 19; and the esteemed singer Andrea Bocelli on January 26. The schedule for the Winter at Tantora event includes the musical series.

On Friday night during Poets Night, there will also be a live Sand and Shadow Show including actors costumed in regionally inspired costumes.
