AlUla Moments has revealed that the "AlUla Skies Festival 2025" will return from April 18–27 and offer a number of brand-new experiences.
The festival showcases the region's clear, light-pollution-free skies and AlUla's long and illustrious astronomical ties. Gharameel and AlUla's Beacon, the first Dark Sky sites in the Middle East to be recognized by the International Dark-Sky Association, are located there, establishing AlUla as a major astrotourism destination worldwide.
The festival showcases IDA-certified sites including Gharameel and AlUla's Beacon, giving guests a unique chance to stargaze in a pristine natural setting.
To see the Milky Way under one of the region's brightest skies, tourists can travel to the Gharameel Reserve. Nighttime strolls, camping excursions, and grilled meals over campfires are all part of the experience.
Other events at the festival include illuminated hot air balloon displays, free-flight and tethered-flight balloon rides over famous landmarks in AlUla, and musical performances that combine entertainment, culture, and adventure.
