An e-portal through which people can request permits to provide iftar spreads at the Grand Mosque has been launched

An online portal has been made available by the General Authority for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques for persons to apply for permission to serve iftar at the Grand Mosque in Makkah during the month of Ramadan. 

The purpose of the e-portal is to make it easier for anyone who want to serve iftar spreads throughout the holy month to submit their applications. 

Muslims are eager to host one another throughout Ramadan and trade food presents because offering an iftar meal to someone who is fasting is regarded as a good act in Islam and is encouraged.
