An incentives program was launched for the environment and meteorology sector to achieve the national strategy

As part of the Environment Fund's initiatives to implement the country's policy for the environment, Saudi Arabia's Minister of the Environment, Eng. On Wednesday, Abdulrahman Al-Fadhli unveiled an incentives program for the environment and meteorology sectors. 

This occurred during the World Environment Day 2024 celebration, which Saudi Arabia hosted under the theme "Our Land, Our Future" at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Centre in Riyadh. Several princes and ministers, officials, experts, specialists, and people with an interest in environmental issues from around the world attended.

The program's objectives are to increase the degree of environmental commitment in development sectors, promote investment in the environment and meteorological sectors, support research, innovation, and development, and promote environmentally friendly activities. 

The Environment Fund's CEO, Mounir Al-Sahli, stated that the program will advance and mirror the organization's mission to fulfil the objectives of the "National Environment Strategy," the "Saudi Green Initiative," and Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 in order to improve living standards and create a sustainable environmental future.
