Annual Hajj pilgrimage: Nearly one million foreign pilgrims arrived in Saudi Arabia

Around a million international pilgrims have arrived in Saudi Arabia for the annual Hajj pilgrimage. Sunday evening, the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) reported that 935,966 Hajj pilgrims have entered the Kingdom through its air, land, and seaports. 

The directorate said that 896,287 pilgrims arrived by flight, with 37,280 pilgrims arriving by land entry points and 2,399 pilgrims arriving via seaports, as the Saudi Press Agency reported with most pilgrims arriving by air.

According to the directorate, it is ensuring to make entry procedures easier for God's guests by providing its online platforms at international airports, seaports, and land ports with the newest technological equipment run by Saudi professionals fluent in various languages spoken by pilgrims.
