Asir Development Authority organises The Colors of Asir exhibition bringing together visual arts enthusiasts and artists from around the region

NewsThe Asir Development Authority, in collaboration with the Saudi Art Club and the Hawi platform, opened the Colours of Asir exhibition today, bringing together visual arts fans and artists from throughout the area. The show runs till July 27 at the Abha Palace Hotel. It features sculptures, photography, graffiti, and calligraphy, as well as legacy art forms such as Sadu and Al-Qatt Al-Asiri, as well as conceptual and environmental works.
The exhibition seeks to foster visual arts culture by bringing together experts and amateurs under one roof, assisting young art enthusiasts in reaching new levels of expertise via the interchange of ideas and information. It is part of the Asir Summer Season, which began on June 30 and aims to promote 15 different tourism and entertainment locations, including the Al-Masqi Heritage Village.
The settlement is 35 km south of Abha, which offers guests milder weather. Tour operators at the site provide information on the history of the local forts. Crafts and talents indigenous to the region are also on display, as are traditional food, shopping pavilions, and a range of attractions infused with Asiri identity and local culture. Visitors may also participate in folklore performances, dress in traditional attire, and sign up for programmes and activities for people of all ages.
The Asir area of the Kingdom is well-known for its natural beauty and climate. During the tourist season, the region provides more than 15 cultural, recreational, historical, and social areas suited for people of all ages. The Asir Summer Season will run till September 1.
