Masjid e Bilal (RA) (Mosque of Bilal) is a mosque located in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, across the ring road, towards the south of and in close vicinity of Masjid e Nabwi (The Prophet (PBUH)’s Mosque).
This mosque is historically and religiously important to Muslims because it is named after Hazrat Bilal, the first Muazzin, which is someone who calls to daily prayers in Islam, and was renowned for his voice. He was a former slave and was one of the close companions of the Prophet (PBUH).
