Commercial registrations of transportation, sea freight activities in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia grew by 28% at the end of Q3

By the conclusion of the third quarter of 2023, the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia had 28% more business registrations for transportation and maritime freight activities, according to the Ministry of Commerce.

There were 397 business registrations for transport and maritime freight in the region, up from 310 at the end of the same period in 2022, by the conclusion of Q3.

As part of the transport and logistics sectors, the transport and marine freight industry is regarded as essential to Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which aims to strengthen the Kingdom's standing as a major worldwide centre for logistics.
