Commitment of Saudi Arabia affirmed ensuring the development of ethical and responsible AI, both domestically and globally

The head of the National Data Management Office at the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), Fahd Al-Rabadi, reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's commitment to guaranteeing the growth of morally and responsibly in AI, both nationally and internationally, on behalf of the SDAIA. 

He underlined how important it is for the Saudi Arabian Digital Industry Association (SDAIA) to monitor research, regulation, and management of artificial intelligence globally.

During the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and the High-Level Meeting on International Governance of Artificial Intelligence 2024, which took place in Shanghai from July 4–6, 2024, Al-Rabadi made these remarks. The topic of discussion during the conference was "Governance of Artificial Intelligence for Good and for All." 

Al-Rabadi emphasised Saudi Arabia's significant investments in artificial intelligence (AI) research and development, as well as the creation of specialised centres in association with top global technology firms. 

He said that Saudi Arabia wants to be a leader in the world of artificial intelligence (AI), using this technology to change many industries and accomplish Vision 2030 objectives.
