RIYADH: A new and exciting attraction has opened in Riyadh at the Courchevel zone within Boulevard World, where visitors can enjoy an authentic skiing experience. This unique attraction, which opened its doors in December, brings the excitement of skiing right to the center of the city. It caters to both beginners and experienced skiers, offering expert guidance from professional instructors.
The skilled trainers at Courchevel are focused not just on teaching but also on ensuring a fun and memorable experience. “We are here to train and assist everyone in learning how to ski, while also making sure they enjoy the process,” said Marwan Akiki, a ski instructor from Lebanon.
The main aim of Courchevel is to provide an enjoyable and safe environment for families. “On any given day, we welcome about 200 visitors of various ages, ranging from 7-year-olds to adults,” Akiki shared.
In addition to skiing, the attraction includes a charming igloo area that appeals to both children and adults alike. This magical space offers a chance for families to feel as though they are in the snowy regions of Europe.
Children can have fun making snow figures, enhancing their visit with even more enjoyment. Salman Al-Ghamdi, who recently brought his children, Mohammed and Sara, to Courchevel, shared how much they loved the experience.
For many, Courchevel Boulevard World marks the first time they’ve encountered snow and had the chance to try skiing. “It’s the first time in Riyadh that we have found both snow and a school dedicated to teaching this amazing experience,” Akiki remarked.
