Cruise Saudi has celebrated a landmark moment in Saudi Arabia's maritime tourism with the launch of its first vessel, AROYA, at Jeddah Islamic Port, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency. The ship's debut underscores the Kingdom’s ambitions to establish itself as a key player in the global cruise industry.
The luxurious AROYA ship features 19 decks and 1,678 cabins and suites, accommodating up to 3,362 passengers. Its design incorporates elements that blend international luxury with Saudi cultural influences. Guests can enjoy diverse culinary options across 12 restaurants and 17 cafes, highlighting dishes from five continents alongside traditional Saudi flavors.
In addition to dining, the ship provides a wide range of entertainment and amenities, including a shopping area, a 1,018-seat theater, and a dedicated children’s zone. Other features include prayer spaces, exclusive women’s access to certain facilities, a walking track, and sports courts for football and basketball.
