Data Saudi platform was inaugurated during LEAP 2024 seeks to improve data accessibility

NewsDuring LEAP 2024, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Planning and Economy, Faisal Al Ibrahim, officially launched the "Data Saudi" platform. This momentous announcement was made in front of thousands of global and local business representatives, as well as specialists from 180 countries, at the Digital Saudi pavilion.
Under the direction of the Ministry of Economy and Planning, the Data Saudi platform was first made available for trial use in September 2023. Since then, it has undergone several feature additions and ongoing improvements.
The platform, which aims to fulfil the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, is intended to serve as the primary hub for social and economic data in the Kingdom. It also aims to increase data accessibility and openness with respect to national economic statistics. Users may easily receive extensive insights into the Saudi economic and social sectors with its variety of important indicators and interactive and visual tools for analysis throughout the Kingdom's regions.
A number of important economic data are displayed on the Data Saudi platform, including as the balance of foreign trade, worker remittances, and capital and current account balances. It also includes a demographic pyramid, birth rates, and population density, among other social indices.
Additionally, the Digital Government Authority Governor, Eng. Ahmed Alsuwaiyan, complimented the Ministry of Economy and Planning during LEAP 2024 for obtaining the National Enterprise Architecture Accreditation Certificate. This award honours government organisations that excel in following national guidelines for enterprise architectural maturity, hence promoting government-wide digital transformation initiatives.
