Domestic pilgrims must carry their digital card on their smart phones while entering Makkah and moving within the holy sites

When entering Makkah and moving about the holy sites, domestic pilgrims are required to carry their digital cards on their smartphones and present them to the security officials. The Coordination Council for Companies and Establishments for Domestic Pilgrims made this announcement.

The Council urged all establishments to inform pilgrims to download the Nusuk application and activate the digital card after the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah issued an urgent directive to all Hajj service companies and establishments for domestic pilgrims.

The council emphasized that all domestic pilgrims must utilise the digital card by uploading it to their smartphones. As a requirement for accessing the Grand Mosque in Makkah and moving around the holy sites, the ministry ordered that all domestic pilgrims comply with the direction to get a smart card. The council emphasised that it is crucial for the domestic pilgrims to be able to display their card upon request.
