'Emerging New Media Artists' Program will be hosted at the upcoming Diriyah Art Futures DAF center

With a focus on up-and-coming creatives, the Saudi Ministry of Culture has introduced the 'Emerging New Media Artists' Programme, which will take place at the upcoming Diriyah Art Futures (DAF) centre.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for emerging artists from the area and beyond. Modern tools, a production budget, and a variety of educational opportunities—including mentoring by well-known worldwide digital artists—will all be available to participants.

Through this partnership between the Ministry and Diriyah Company, DAF is being introduced as the first New Media Arts centre in the region.

DAF, which is situated in Historical Diriyah, aims to promote artistic inquiry across a range of visual disciplines and develop into a centre of creative activity and a worldwide cultural icon. The one-year programme, which focuses on training in creative output, was developed in collaboration with Le Fresnoy, the French equivalent of the Studio National des Arts Contemporains. Candidates must be 35 years of age or younger, enrolled in graduate or postgraduate programmes, and have prior expertise in digital and new media arts in order to be eligible.
