Enhanced version of the Absher Travel service has been introduced; simplify the travel experience across the King Fahd Causeway

An improved Absher Travel service has been made available by the General Directorate of Passports to streamline the travel across King Fahd Causeway. This update, which was made possible in cooperation with the King Fahd Causeway Authority, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), updates the procedure for paying bridge fees and confirming auto insurance before reaching the port. 

This programme, which aims to promote the continuous digital transformation of passport services, is expected to enhance the standard of living for citizens and residents. To further improve travel convenience, it also includes spatial verification via the NAFATH application. The service may be accessible via the Absher app for smart devices by citizens and residents who have an active account on the Ministry of Interior's electronic platform, "Absher."
