NewsAs part of the "Professional Certification" programme, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has finished the first stage of the "Professional Verification" service. It collaborates with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs via a single electronic platform under the ministry's supervision, including 128 nations.
The ministry claims that the action is in line with Cabinet Resolution No. 195. Its goal is to guarantee that foreign labourers entering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are properly qualified academically and have the relevant real-world experience and skills that the Saudi labour market demands.
Focusing on high-skilled occupations, the service confirms that the educational background meets the requirements for the field and educational level in accordance with recognised standards like the Unified Saudi Classification of Professions and the Unified Saudi Classification of Educational Levels and Specialties. This solution uses a single, unified platform for expert verification and is entirely automated, with quick and easy processes.
The ministry clarified that, in cooperation with the appropriate government agencies, it is still working to finish the phases of the implementation plan for "professional verification" and hopes to reach 160 nations globally for all professions, including engineering and health. "Professional verification" improves the calibre of credentials and competence data for foreign workers and directly helps prevent unfit foreign workers from joining the workforce.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development aims to improve productivity, elevate the standard of employment and services offered in the labour market, and regulate the labour market through this service.
