Flynas has launched Saudi Arabias first program to train airline cabin crew in sign language

NewsThe first sign language programme has been introduced for airline cabin staff by Saudi carrier Flynas. In line with Flynas's mission to embrace sustainable projects that have a beneficial social impact, the programme is being carried out in partnership with the Saudi Association for Hearing Impairment, according to a recent report by the Saudi Press Agency.
With a special emphasis on studying sign language, the programme will teach airline cabin staff members how to interact with customers who have hearing problems. Various phases of passenger communication are covered in the training, including greeting and boarding protocols, in-flight amenities, safety precautions, and departure protocols.
