Founding Day; various events organized by the Ministry of Culture, promotions, and discounts of up to 85 percent

On Thursday, a variety of events will be held throughout Saudi Arabia to honor the nation's founding. Every year on February 22, the Kingdom observes Founding Day to commemorate Imam Mohammed bin Saud's founding of the country in 1727 CE. 

Up to February 26th, the Ministry of Culture will host several events around the nation, including Founding Nights, Symphony of the Beginning, Path of History, and Founding Village. Fireworks, traditional dance, drone displays, live concerts, and military exercises are among the other activities. To commemorate the anniversary, several companies, including hotels, restaurants, cafés, and airlines, are giving promotions and discounts of up to 85 percent, so those looking for deals on Founding Day are in luck as well. 

Up to February 28th, the Ministry of Commerce is permitting businesses to grant discounted licenses via a unique web portal called sales.mc.gov.sa. Customers can scan the corresponding barcode to confirm the savings.
