Fourth edition Riyadh Season; Battle of the Baddest, unfolded at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh drew a massive crowd

In an exciting session of "Battle of the Baddest," British boxer Tyson Fury defeated former mixed martial arts world champion Francis Ngannou in 10 rounds to win the title. The thrilling event, which attracted a huge audience, was chosen by the Riyadh Season organisers to launch its fourth season. It took place in the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh. After a fierce brawl, the judges unanimously ruled Tyson Fury the winner, and advisor Turki Al-Sheikh ceremoniously gave him the title belt in the ring.

With this victory, Fury—who is sometimes referred to as the “Gypsy King”—begins his 35th straight unbeaten fight, making him a legendary champion in the sport. Star-studded attendance at the event included former players Luis Figo of Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo of Brazil, as well as sports celebrities such as Ronaldo, the captain of Al-Nassr. Prominent figures from several sports, mostly boxing and kung fu, were there.

The fourth edition of the Riyadh Season was formally opened by Turki Al-Sheikh, the head of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, against the sound of the "Kingdom Arena" bells. At the opening ceremony, athletes, artists, and martial arts fans from all around the world were present.

The main event of the Riyadh Season's premiere was the fight between World Boxing Council heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and mixed martial arts heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou. The General Entertainment Authority selected this bout as the "Battle of the Baddest" to kick off the fourth season.
