The Saudi Falcons Club headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, will host its fourth auction from October 1 through November 15. In addition to providing chances for investment in a sector that supports the growth of the national economy, the event's organisers stated it wants to promote the Kingdom's falconry legacy and support associated cultural, civilizational, and economic activities.
Through the auction, the club encourages investment in falconry in Saudi Arabia and the growth of the industry, including the establishment of rules controlling bird sales and purchases. 102 falcons were sold over the course of 20 days during the club's inaugural edition in 2020, with sales exceeding SR10 million ($2.7 million). 95 falcons were sold at the second auction for a total of SR8.3 million, while 81 birds went for more than SR7 million at the third.
