France Fashion Days launched; a new initiative that aims to further strengthen ties between Saudi and France through fashion

"France & Fashion Days" is a brand-new project that intends to further develop connections between Saudi Arabia and France via fashion. It has been launched by the Saudi Fashion Commission, the French Embassy, and Alliance Française.

The two-day event will bring together fans of fashion for conferences, workshops, exhibitions, and training on May 27 and 28 at the Art Pur Foundation in Riyadh.

Burak Cakmak, CEO of the Saudi Fashion Commission, and Ludovic Pouille, French Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, will officially open the event.

Industry specialists from Saudi Arabia and France will exhibit their work and exchange opinions on the influence of the fashion ecosystem in the modern world.

The most crucial concerns affecting the sector, including brand communication, craftsmanship, and sustainable growth, will be covered by the speakers. In a carefully organised exhibition, designers from France and Saudi Arabia will present their work.

On the second day, seminars on the practical elements of building and developing a brand will be the emphasis. During these sessions, participants will be encouraged to share their knowledge and experience.

The 1999-founded Art Pur Foundation fosters the arts and culture in Saudi Arabia and aids up-and-coming artists by operating a fashion and design training centre, holding exhibits, and organising cross-cultural interactions.

Princess Adwa bint Yazid bin Abdallah, the founder and director of the Art Pur Foundation, is a longtime supporter of French-Saudi collaboration in the fashion industry and plays a highly active role in the growth of arts and culture in the Kingdom.

By exchanging information in a variety of sectors, fostering communication between experts from both countries, and supporting the training of young professionals, Saudi Arabia and France are cooperating to promote cultural exchanges and understanding.

This event is part of Europe Month 2023.  the festival is organized by the embassies and cultural institutes of EU Member States to celebrate European culture and takes place from 9 May to 9 June in Jeddah and Riyadh.
