GCC residents have simplified options for visiting the Holy Mosque in Mecca to perform Umrah

According to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) have easier access to the Holy Mosque in Mecca for Umrah. The ministry emphasized that the purpose of these options is to increase accessibility to the trip.

The ministry also emphasized that in order to pray in the Prophet's Mosque in Medina, one must have a permit, which can be acquired via the Nusuk app. 

With improved access to the holy towns of Mecca and Medina, the action seeks to make the pilgrimage easier for people living throughout the Gulf region.
