Hira Cultural District in Makkah will be offering a variety of attractions as part of the Hira Winter celebrations

The Hira Cultural District in Makkah is bustling with activities as part of the Hira Winter celebrations, which coincide with the mid-year holiday. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of sights and services till January 10. The Revelation Exhibition is the focal point of these events, telling the dramatic story of the honored prophets from Adam to Prophet Muhammad. The exhibition focuses on Prophet Muhammad's first revelation, immersing visitors in a key event in his life.

Interactive museum displays allow visitors to explore the revelation story, the Cave of Hira, and learn about Khadija bint Khuwaylid, the Mother of Believers, and the angel Gabriel. The exhibition provides visitors with an immersive experience by incorporating cutting-edge technology such as interactive screens and realistic simulations. Historical items are also on display, such as a photocopy of the Qur'an attributed to Uthman bin Affan, one of the oldest surviving mushafs, demonstrating Muslims' commitment to preserving the holy text.

The exhibition also includes old stone inscriptions containing Qur'anic phrases, demonstrating Muslims' efforts to protect sacred scriptures. The region also provides a distinctive shopping experience, with handicrafts and traditional products. It is close to the Hira Cave and the well-known Jabal Al-Nour.
