Regulations for the Hajj have been released by the General Directorate of Public Security. As on Saturday, May 4, 2024, residents who want to visit Makkah must get a permit from the appropriate authorities.
People without the necessary permits will be turned away at security checkpoints heading to the Holy Capital as a result of this crackdown. The directive places a strong emphasis on the requirement for licenses in order to attend Holy Site workplaces, Holy Capital dwellings, and to undertake Hajj or Umrah.
These standard procedures are a part of the yearly attempts to maintain safety and order throughout the Hajj season by organizing the influx of pilgrims and locals.
