NewsSeveral intellectuals and artists convened at the Ministry of Culture's Riyadh center to talk about the biography "Taisrat," written by architectural scholar Saleh Alhathloul. The Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission organised the event, which was held in the Fenaa Alawwal centre, according to a report from the Saudi Press Agency.
In December 2022, the ministry inaugurated Fenaa Alawwal, its first cultural hub, to hold workshops and art exhibitions. It is situated in the Diplomatic Quarter of the city, once home to Alawwal Bank, the first commercial bank in the Kingdom.
Alhathloul, an architectural professor at King Saud University, emphasised his upbringing in Qassim and his time as an engineering student at KSU.While the COVID-19 epidemic was still going strong in 2020, Alhathloul started writing the biography. He said that his biography included both the advancement of the country throughout the previous 60 years as well as his own personal growth.
