Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud has launched a number of ministry-affiliated initiatives in the Makkah area. The minister dedicated a number of centres and headquarters for the Directorates of Public Security and Civil Defence, as well as a Medical Centre in Makkah that belongs to the Interior Ministry's medical services.
He also established a club in Makkah for personnel of the Interior Ministry. The club was built to the greatest technological and building standards, and it includes sports, educational, recreational, and health amenities.
The initiatives under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques programme to establish security headquarters will help to improve the performance of the security sectors as well as the services offered to Saudi citizens and residents.
