International Falcon Breeders Auction commences on Monday, and continues till August 24th

As it gets ready to host the 2024 International Falcon Breeders Auction, the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, is poised to emerge as the global centre for the falconry community. The Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Centre in Malham, north of Riyadh, is the venue for the event, which is supported by the Saudi Falcons Club. It begins on Monday and runs through August 24.

The world's largest auction of its kind, scheduled for this year, will feature around 35 of the top breeders from 16 different nations. The chance to view and bid on some of the world's most elite falcon breeds will be available to falcon lovers and breeders for 20 days.

The auction has become a yearly international gathering place for falconers and breeders. This event is a reflection of the Saudi Falcons Club's continued efforts to encourage forward-thinking falcon breeders and maintain the rich historical and cultural legacy of falconry.

The Riyadh auction in 2024 is expected to exceed its already remarkable history. The event has sold more than 18 million Saudi Riyals in the last three years, solidifying its standing as a prominent event in the falconry world.

The auction is expected to welcome new foreign breeders, generating economic possibilities and allowing information exchange between producers and investors on both local and global dimensions. Over the previous three years, the auction has produced sales surpassing 18 million Saudi Riyals.

A fast-paced, competitive live auction will be held throughout the event, attracting falconers, breeders, and fans from Saudi Arabia and beyond. The auction will be streamed live on television channels and social media platforms, enabling participants from all over the world to participate in real time.

The Saudi Falcons Club has reaffirmed its commitment to protecting and advancing the cultural legacy of falconry both locally and internationally by announcing a packed schedule of activities for its 2024–2025 season. The main event on the schedule is the first-ever Saudi Falcons Club Cup 2024, which will be held for the first time in the province of Hafr Al-Batin. The King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival, the Melwah Race, the AlUla Falcons Cup, the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition, and the Saudi Falcons Club Auction are among the other events.
