The International Festival of Traditional Games will be held in Riyadh from December 19 to 25 by the Heritage Commission. The occasion will highlight the importance of traditional games, encourage cross-cultural interaction, and present the many national identities of the participating nations.
In addition to exploring and taking part in traditional activities, visitors can attend workshops to learn how to make toys and decorate their homes using games that are inspired by them.
A crafts section showcasing the depth of folklore will also be present, with items created by Saudi Arabian and international craftspeople.
A Year of the Camel pavilion at the festival provides information about the camel, which is a major cultural icon in Saudi Arabia.
