Jaffali Mosque is one of the most famous mosques located near the Al Balad area and the Al Bayaa roundabout, in Jeddah built in the year 1987. The mosque built by the Egyptian architect Abdelwahed El-Wakil, is characterised by 20 opulent domes, and stretches across more than 3000 square metres. In addition to its striking white structure, the mosque also has a 3-tier minaret and offers serene views of the lake. It is home to a rectangular courtyard, and various corridors, this mosque can accommodate almost 2500 worshippers at a time.
Jaffali Mosque can comfortably accommodate over 2,500 worshipers. The mosque also has a 370 square meter rectangular courtyard surrounded by beautiful dome-topped corridors. It features stairways leading to the main interior area on both the eastern and western facades and is built on a raised platform. The mosque's layout is highly compartmentalized, yet united by a common rectangular theme, separating all sections from each other.
