News EventThe King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival, which will be held at the Saudi Falcons Club's headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, from December 3 to 19, has finally been planned.
A prominent collection of falconers, including amateurs, professionals, and falcon owners from Saudi Arabia and outside, will participate in the festival, which is known as the largest falcon gathering in the world.
They will participate in the Mazayen falcon beauty pageant and the Al-Mellwah falcon racing competitions.
There will be 138 rounds and 17 days of competition this year, with over 900 prizes totaling SR36 million ($9.6 million) up for grabs.
The festival will have a number of ancillary events in addition to the major competitions.
This project will include interactive exercises that combine traditional falconry knowledge, history, and hunting methods with contemporary technology.
Falconers will vie for coveted awards like the King's Sword and the King Abdulaziz Cups, highlighting the festival's significance in honoring falconry's cultural legacy and fostering a spirit of competition.
