The General Entertainment Authority's (GEA) chairman of the board of directors, Urki Al-Sheikh, has revealed the details of a ground-breaking Riyadh Season event. A historic mixed martial arts (MMA) match between Professional Fighters League (PFL) and Bellator champions will take place on February 24 at the Kingdom Arena.
Al-Sheikh stated his excitement about bringing this unique event to Riyadh and predicted fierce fights that would break records in the martial arts community. The world's largest event of its sort, the event is expected to inject high-octane excitement into the Riyadh Season.
The fight programme for the event includes four co-main bouts pitting current PFL Champions versus current Bellator Champions. Two exciting bouts between previous champions from both leagues are also featured on the bill. Fans may watch the entire event live on DAZN, a well-known sports streaming service, anywhere in the world.
A first-of-its-kind PFL PPV (pay per view) Super Fight featuring seven fights involving current and past champions and title contenders from Bellator and PFL will also take place at the event. This part of the event will begin at 11:00 p.m. Riyadh time on DAZN and ESPN+PPV.
In addition, the initial broadcast of the major bouts on ESPN+ and ESPNEWS platforms starting at 8:00 p.m. Riyadh time, will be accompanied by three main programmes.
