Kingdom will establish 60 logistics zones by the year 2030 as per Saudi Energy Minister

According to Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Saudi Arabia's minister of energy, the country would create 60 logistics zones by 2030. The minister stressed that there are many areas where the Belt and Road Initiative and the Saudi Vision 2030 are similar when speaking at the Forum for International Cooperation on Wednesday at the 3rd Belt and Road Initiative Summit in Beijing.

According to Prince Abdulaziz, the COVID-19 epidemic has brought to light the significance of collaborative efforts among nations, the influence of global supply and value chains, and the global economy.

The minister made the observation that Saudi Arabia and China had concluded their comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement in 2022. In an effort to increase prospects for collaboration and connectivity across all domains, the two nations also inked the harmonisation plan between Saudi Vision 2030 and the Belt and Road Initiative, he continued.

President Xi Jinping of China held the Belt and Road Initiative Summit on October 17 and 18, which brought together dignitaries and leaders from over 130 nations, with Russian President Vladimir Putin as the VIP guest of honour.
