Leading creative conference Tanween is bringing together international specialists from the fashion, architectural, and design domains to Dhahran to share their knowledge, which will be open from November 1–4. The King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture, or "Ithra," is hosting the annual conference, which will include four exhibitions, eight seminars, and twelve discussions examining designs in architecture, fashion, and other fields.
Head of innovation and creativity at Ithra Miznah Al-Zamil remarked, "Every year during Tanween, we focus on a new angle through which we explore the concept of creativity from a different perspective." Tanween is "hosting a new qualitative educational programme called a Day in the Company of an Expert" this year, according to Al-Zamil. The programme will involve talks, seminars, and "an exchange of knowledge," among other things.
The conference, themed "Scale," delves into the "dynamic impact of design and its role in shaping the environment," as stated by the organisers. It also "uncovers innovative solutions by understanding the diverse methods and perspectives of focusing on scale in various fields." Attendees may see carefully chosen designs at the conference hall entry that showcase innovative concepts and solutions developed by architecture, fashion, and interior design students from the Kingdom and beyond.
Among other sectors, fashion, architecture, and product design will be covered in lively panel discussions. Tim Gill, Omar Nagati, Ryan Mario Yasin, Claudia Pasquero, Javier Pena Ibanez, and others are among the panellists. Professionals and amateurs attending Tanween will enhance their technical abilities with interactive courses like Break the Design.
More than 170,000 people have attended the event since it began in 2018, bringing together innovators to rethink creativity in a world that is always evolving.
