Makkah Halal Forum will kick off on Tuesday and will explore promotion of halal industries by presenting global experiences

Starting on Tuesday, the Makkah Halal Forum will showcase international experiences aimed at promoting the halal businesses. The Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Exhibition and Events Centre will host the three-day event, which is being sponsored by Minister of Commerce Dr. Majed Al-Qasabi. The forum, which aligns with Saudi Arabia's halal industry trends and goals of supporting national economic growth and participating in its diversification, will be attended by senior officials from the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, the Islamic Chamber for Halal Services Company, and the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organisation.

A number of discussion sessions covering various facets of the halal industries will take place at the forum, giving business owners the opportunity to elucidate the specific images of the halal products that fall under major categories like Islamic finance, halal food, Islamic tourism, pharmacy and pharmaceutical industries, beauty, logistics and marketing services, technical, and medical equipment.

The forum will hold four discussion sessions on Tuesday. The first session, titled "Successful models in the halal industry," will cover case studies of specific experiences in the halal industry and provide insights into innovation, marketing, and promotion of halal products. The second session, titled "Global experiences in the halal industry," will concentrate on regulatory, legislative, legal, developmental, and economic experiences in the halal industry.

"Innovation in marketing and commercial excellence in the travel and tourism industry" will be the topic of discussion at the third session. It will cover topics such as the value of innovation in the halal travel and tourist services sector, the relationship between information and communication technology and the travel industry, and ways to improve collaboration between organisations and businesses in the sector.

The best practices and effective models for innovation, development, and marketing in the halal sector would be reviewed in the fourth session, "Development and Transformation of the Halal Industry by Presenting Visions and Challenges." The forum will be complemented by business-to-business (B2B) exchange sessions aimed at improving collaboration amongst business owners and drawing in fresh prospects and creative enterprises that support the expansion of halal sectors.
