Minister of Interior launched the updated Salamah Portal identity of the Directorate of Saudi Civil Defense

NewsThe Directorate of Saudi Civil Defense's new Salamah Portal identity was unveiled on Wednesday at its Riyadh offices by Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif.
Public and private sector enterprises can now take advantage of licensing procedures based on an integrated electronic system with several government entities thanks to the upgraded ID. By establishing policies and guidelines for fire prevention and safety, it also seeks to ease the journey for investors and create a secure environment within the buildings. The Salamah portal helps raise the standard of safety in all establishments around the Kingdom by providing investors with a wide range of civil defense services in an easy-to-use manner.
The minister also launched other electronic services, raising the total number of services offered by the portal via the Absher Business platform to 34. These services included the investor's journey statement service and the ability to change and extend licenses.
Additionally, Prince Abdulaziz checked on the status of the work being done at the General Directorate of Civil Defense headquarters. In compliance with the most recent international technical equipment and contemporary technical services, he examined several contemporary mechanisms and teams that are specialized in civil defense operations. The minister heard a brief summary of the activities carried out by the directorate in 2023 and the goals for 2024–2025 from Maj. Gen. Hammoud Al-Faraj, the in-charge director general of civil defense.
Assistant Minister of Interior for Operations Affairs Lt. Gen. Saeed Al-Qahtani, Assistant Minister of Interior Dr. Hisham Al-Falih, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs Muhammad Al-Muhanna, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Technology Affairs Prince Bandar bin Abdullah bin Mishari, Member of the Council of Senior Scholars and the Permanent Committee for Fatwa Sheikh Abdul Salam Al-Sulaiman, and Director of Public Security Lt. Gen. Muhammad Al-Bassami were present at the ceremony.
