Ministry has introduced a special stamp for beneficiaries of Makkah Route Initiative

A unique stamp bearing the initiative's visual identity has been made available to Makkah Route Initiative participants by the General Directorate of Passports of the Ministry of Interior. Morocco, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey, and Côte d'Ivoire are among the beneficiary nations, and the stamp will be used at airport lounges in each of those nations.

The Pilgrim Experience Programme, one of the Saudi Vision 2030 programmes, includes the Makkah Route Initiative as one of its Ministry of Interior activities. The initiative entails completing all travel-related formalities required of pilgrims in their home countries, such as electronically issuing visas, confirming that pilgrims are in good health, processing passports at the airport in the country of departure, and coding and sorting luggage in accordance with the travel and lodging arrangements in the Kingdom.

Upon arrival, pilgrims are transported to their homes in Makkah and Madinah by pre-designated bus lanes, and their luggage is dropped off at those locations.
